Rev. Howard G. White

Rev. Howard Gerrard White was born in 1954 and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. He has degrees from Belhaven College, Scarritt Graduate School for Christian Workers, and Emory University, where he graduated from seminary in December of 1990. Howard was appointed to Pierce Chapel in 1991 as the church's first full-time pastor. Ordained an Elder in the United Methodist Church, Howard loves planning meaningful worship experiences that communicate the love and presence of God. He is married to Lynn and together they share pastoral duties and proudly parent Elizabeth and John Howard.
