The Value of Small Groups
Here’s the truth: God made us for relationships—with Him, and with each other. We weren’t meant to live this Christian life alone. So we are encouraging you not to settle only for coming to worship on Sunday morning. Worshiping with the larger body at Pierce Chapel is crucial, but if that’s all you do, you’re not likely to grow very much as a disciple of Jesus Christ. We all need more intimate relationships with other Christians than Sunday morning worship alone can give us.
So, we urge you to find a small group that fits you. Connecting to others through groups happens in three ways at Pierce Chapel: Community Groups, Sunday School, and Small Groups. Check out the info below. Pray for God to guide you. Contact us if you need help knowing which group might best fit your needs. Then make a decision not to stay where you are, spiritually speaking. Invest in relationships with others who also seek to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Desiring to grow with you,
“Community Groups” at Pierce Chapel have these things in common:
They meet at least twice per month.
They meet in homes.
They include sharing a meal together.
They are open to anyone (in other words, they are not just for men, or just for women, or just for couples, etc.)
Community Groups offer a great opportunity to form meaningful relationships with others at Pierce Chapel while growing in your walk with Christ. New groups are now forming, and we have some space for additional folks to join! Community Groups are a valuable way to go deeper and grow in relationship with Christ. Interested?
